Evan Bell Farrior is an American author, native to Jersey City, New Jersey. He completed his education in local public schools, and then went to graduate from Essex County College, New Jersey City University, and New York School of Bible. After his graduation, he went ahead and worked as a Special Education provider in Jersey City Public School for thirty years, retiring in 2013.
For his notable work, an orphanage and school were named after him in Gardnersville, Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. Besides being an educator, he is also a counselor, a historian, a mentor, a minister, a notary public, a singer, a songwriter, a published poet and author, an advocate, and an entrepreneur. He’s the recipient of numerous awards included the Ronald Regan Gold Medal.
